		<description>I am surprised that these sort of reminder calendars don&#039;t mention inspecting/replacing the home water heater anode.  I realize it is an advanced task possibly requiring a professional, but once a home owner replaces their old water heater with a higher efficiency, tank-type unit they can greatly extend its life and avoid water damage by the inspection/replacement of the sacrificial anode.
